Daily Encouragement

One Bible verse a day with a short thought. Truth within the New Covenant.

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."

Ephesians 2:8-9

Love Instead of FearTuesday, July 28, 2026

Thoughts within the New Covenant

By grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works. This verse is the heart of the gospel. Grace. Faith. Gift. No works.

Love drives out fear because salvation is a gift. You do not have to perform. You may receive.

Today: grace through faith. God's gift. Receive.

Truth & Application

Truth: Salvation is God's gift, not your work. Through grace, through faith. Not from you. Not through performance. This frees from all fear of not being good enough.

Practical today: When fear arises of not being good enough, remember: Gift. Not work. Grace. Not performance. Then receive freely.

Question for you: Where are you trying to replace a gift with performance?

Prayer

Father, thank you for the gift of salvation. Through grace. Through faith. Not through works. Today I receive this gift anew. I release performance anxiety. Holy Spirit, deepen in me the wonder of grace. Amen.
