He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. John speaks to God's children and reminds them: you have overcome. Not because you are strong but because the Greater One dwells in you.
Righteousness shows itself here as inner superiority. Not arrogant but secure. The Spirit in you is greater than anything that stands against you.
Today: you are from God. He who is in you is greater. That is enough.
Truth & Application
Truth: The Spirit of God in you is greater than anything in the world. You have overcome, not through your own strength but because the Greater One lives in you. That is your standing.
Practical today: When something appears bigger than you today, remember: He who is in me is greater. Then act from this standing.
Question for you: What appears bigger today than it is because you forgot who lives in you?
Prayer
Father, thank you that he who is in me is greater than anything in the world. Today I live from this standing. I release intimidation and timidity. Holy Spirit, you are greater. Show me today. Amen.
