Your new identity is not an improved version of the old. It is completely new life. Made alive with Christ. This was not your merit but pure grace.
Today: you were dead, now you are alive. This is not a detail. This is everything.
Truth & Application
Truth: You were dead and have been made alive with Christ. This is the most radical identity change possible. Your new life is not repair but resurrection. By grace.
Practical today: Consciously remember today: I was dead, now I live. With Christ. By grace. Make a decision that fits someone who is alive.
Question for you: Where are you still living as the dead person even though you are alive with Christ?
Prayer
Father, thank you for making me alive with Christ. By grace I am saved. Today I live as one who is alive, not as one who is dead. I release old patterns of death. Holy Spirit, awaken in me today the awareness of my new life. Amen.
