Ephesians 3:12
Boldness and Access
Verse
In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.
Thought
In him we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in him. Paul describes something unthinkable under the Old Covenant: direct access to the Father, without a mediator, without fear.
Boldness means you can come as you are. Confidence means you know you are welcome. This is not arrogance, it is the fruit of the cross. Jesus cleared the way and you can walk it.
Today you can come to your Father with courage and honesty. Without fear, without a mask.
Truth & Application
Truth: You have boldness and access to the Father, not through your own worthiness but through Christ. You do not need to prepare or feel worthy. The way is open, anytime.
Today practically: Come into God's presence at least once today. Without a formula, without performance. Simply as a son or daughter.
Question for you: Where are you still keeping your distance even though access has long been open?
Prayer
Father, thank you for the boldness and access I have in Christ. Thank you that I do not need to be worthy. Today I come freely to you. I release religious distance and fear of rejection. Holy Spirit, lead me into real closeness. Amen.
