Biblical. Clear. Full of grace, and full of power.
Women, they were part of God's story from the very beginning. Not as a side figure. Not as an addition. But right in the middle.
And yet, over the centuries, a picture has solidified that does not do justice to the Bible: women should listen, but not speak. Serve, but not lead. Be silent where God actually wants to send them.
❓ Question
But what does Scripture really say? And above all: what does the New Covenant reveal about the role of women in proclamation?
For this is decisive: the New Covenant restores not only men, but also women. It breaks curses, lifts separations and opens spaces, not at the cost of order, but in the spirit of the freedom that is in Christ.
📖 In this series we get to the bottom of the matter:
We meet Deborah, who judged prophetically, because God had called her. We see Mary, who was the first witness of the resurrection, and was sent. We hear of Priscilla, who together with Aquila even instructed Apollos, in the gospel.
💡 Tip
God uses whom he will, when the heart is ready.
This series of impulses is no feminist agenda. And it is also no culturally driven accommodation. It is an honest, Bible-faithful look at a topic that in many communities is either silenced or emotionally overheated.
What we need is clarity in the Spirit, and humility in the heart. So that women are not belittled but released, and men are not overwhelmed but encouraged to serve together with sisters in Christ.
📖 Key verse
For in Christ there is neither male nor female, but new creation. (Galatians 3:28)
