No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Realization in the New Covenant
God tempts no one (James 1:13), but He is faithful in temptation. 1 Cor 10:13 is a New Covenant promise: there is always a way out.
- ›You are not at the mercy of your impulses.
- ›The Spirit in you is greater (1 John 4:4). You receive strength to say No, you do not have to generate it yourself.
Prayer in the New Covenant
Father, thank You for Your way out. In Christ open my eyes to the next step. Strengthen me through Your Spirit to say No and to stay free. Amen.
