Romans 3:24
Peace as a Standing
Verse
And are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
Thought
Justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption in Christ Jesus. Paul places the core of the gospel in one sentence: righteousness is free. Not cheap, but dearly paid for by Christ and free for you.
Peace arises when you stop trying to earn righteousness and start accepting it as a gift. Redemption is not your project. It has happened.
Today: you are righteous. Without merit. By grace. That is your standing.
Truth & Application
Truth: You are righteous without merit, by grace alone. Redemption is not a task but a completed gift. Your peace stands because righteousness stands.
Practical today: When performance thinking arises, say: Righteous without merit. By grace. Then live from this peace.
Question for you: Where are you still trying to earn righteousness that has long been given?
Prayer
Father, thank you that I am righteous without merit. By pure grace, through Christ. Today I stand on this gift. I release merit thinking. Holy Spirit, keep me today in the peace of gifted righteousness. Amen.
