Hebrews 10:17

Peace as a Standing

Verse

I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.

Thought

I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more. God makes a conscious decision here: he no longer counts. Not because he forgot but because the cross settled everything.

Peace arises when you realize: God does not keep a record of your failures. The record of debt is cancelled. There is no open account between you and God anymore.

Today: when you remember old sins, remember: God does not. He consciously stopped counting.

Truth & Application

Truth: God does not keep a sin record over you. In the New Covenant he has consciously decided to remember your sins no more. There is no open account anymore.

Practical today: When an old sin surfaces in your mind, say: God keeps no record. The bill is paid. Then set it down.

Question for you: What sin record are you still keeping over yourself that God has long closed?

Prayer

Father, thank you for no longer counting my sins. The record of debt is cancelled. Today I live in this peace. I release inner records and self-accusation. Holy Spirit, strengthen me in the freedom of the closed record. Amen.
