My child, come to me today without an agenda. Not with a wish list, but just as you are. Like a child climbing onto its father's lap without needing a reason. In Christ our relationship is not transactional. You do not have to bring me anything to receive something. Your presence is enough for me. And my presence will fill you in a way that no to-do list or achievement ever could.
