Titus 3:5

Gratitude and Joy

Verse

He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy.

Thought

Not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy he saved us. Salvation is based on mercy, not on merit. This is reason for thanksgiving, not for performance.

Gratitude and joy flow naturally when you recognize: I am saved because God is merciful. Not because I deserved it.

Today: give thanks for mercy. Rejoice in grace.

Truth & Application

Truth: Your salvation is based on God's mercy, not on your works. This is the purest reason for gratitude and joy: unmerited grace.

Practical today: Take a moment for genuine thanks. Not as duty. As a response to mercy.

Question for you: When did you last simply give thanks without wanting something?

Prayer

Father, thank you for your mercy. Not my works saved me but your grace. Today I rejoice in that. I release performance pressure and simply give thanks. Holy Spirit, fill me with gratitude and joy. Amen.
