Peace as a Standing

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in. Jesus knocks. He does not break in. He waits.
Peace shows itself in God's patience. He does not pressure. He knocks and waits. Your part: hear and open.
Today: Jesus knocks. Not with pressure. With invitation. Open the door.
Truth & Application
Truth: Jesus stands at your door and knocks. He does not force himself in. He waits patiently. Peace with God shows itself in his gentle, steady invitation.
Practical today: Consciously listen for Jesus' knock today. Not loud, not pressing. Gentle and steady. Open the door of your heart to him.
Question for you: Which door in your life do you still keep closed even though Jesus is knocking?
Prayer
Jesus, thank you for knocking and waiting patiently. Today I open the door to you. Come in. I release closedness and fear. Holy Spirit, thank you that I hear his knock and respond. Amen.
