Ephesians 4:7
Sonship and Closeness
Verse
But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift.
Thought
Grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift. Paul makes clear: grace is not generic, it is personal. Each one has received. You, individually, according to the measure of Christ.
Sonship means: God does not give in bulk orders but personally. He knows you, he knows what you need, and he gives abundantly. The closeness is individual.
Today: grace is personalized for you. Not less than for others. According to the measure of Christ.
Truth & Application
Truth: Grace is given to you personally, according to the measure of Christ's gift. You do not receive leftovers but your measure. God treats you as an individual son, not as a number.
Practical today: Receive grace today as something personal. Not abstract but concrete for you. Ask: What are you giving me today, Father?
Question for you: Where do you doubt that God's grace truly applies to you personally?
Prayer
Father, thank you for giving me grace personally. According to the measure of Christ. I am not a number, I am a son. Today I receive your individual attention. I release comparison with others. Holy Spirit, show me today my personal measure of grace. Amen.
