Brought Near
Verse
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
Thought
Once far, now near. Through the blood of Christ. You were far from God, Christ changed that. Through his blood you have been brought near. Permanently and irrevocably.
Truth & Application
Truth: The distance is closed. You are no longer far. This nearness is secured by Christ's blood and cannot be lost.
Today practically: Live today in nearness to God. The distance is history.
Question for you: Where do you still feel far even though you are near?
Prayer
Father, thank you that I have been brought near through Christ's blood. The distance is closed. Today I live in this nearness. Amen.
