Sealed with the Spirit
Verse
In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.
Thought
Sealed with the Holy Spirit. A seal means ownership and protection. You belong to God, and he has placed his seal on you. No one can break it.
Truth & Application
Truth: The Spirit's seal is God's guarantee. You belong to him, he protects you, he confirms your sonship.
Today practically: Live today in the security that God's seal is upon you. You belong to him.
Question for you: Do you doubt your belonging even though God's seal is on you?
Prayer
Father, thank you for sealing me. I belong to you. Your seal holds. Today I live in this security. Amen.
