Prayer for Clear Words (Col 4:3-6)

Original Prayer

Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.

At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ.

Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.

Context (Old Covenant)

Word of Paul (Col 4:3-6), New Covenant: clear, gracious, salty speech as fruit of the Spirit.

Prayer in the New Covenant

Father, in Christ I receive words of grace and clarity today. Open doors for conversations and let Christ be visible through me. Amen.
