Original Prayer

Father, I sit here before you.

I have nothing to say.

I just want to be with you.

Speak, or simply be silent.

I am here.

Context (Old Covenant)

Modern prayer of silence / contemplation. New Covenant: being-with-the-Father as gift, not as achievement.

Alignment; listening; rest.

Realization in the New Covenant

Silence before God is not a mystical technique but simply making space.

  • ›The Spirit dwells in you (1 Cor 6:19), you do not need to meditate Him into presence.
  • ›Silence is: stop talking and listen.
  • ›In the New Covenant you have direct access (Heb 4:16). No ritual needed, just openness.

Prayer in the New Covenant

Father, I become still before You. In Christ, thank You that You are near. Speak to my heart and realign me. Amen.
