Father, I bring you my family.

Keep our hearts in peace and give us good words.

Grant us patience, love and mutual respect.

Let Christ be the center of our home.

Realization in the New Covenant

In Christ you are not only a child of God yourself (John 1:12), but you can speak blessing over your family, not as a beggar, but as a son and daughter with authority.

  • ›Identity: Your children belong to God, not to your control. You are a shepherd, not an owner
  • ›Authority: In the New Covenant you do not ask fearfully, you speak blessing in the authority given to you (Luke 10:19)
  • ›Peace: Peace in the home is fruit of the Spirit's presence (Gal 5:22), not something you earn through perfection
  • ›Blessing: You are blessed with EVERY spiritual blessing (Eph 1:3), from this abundance you speak over your family

Prayer in the New Covenant

Father, thank You for this family. In Christ I speak blessing and peace over our children. Draw them to Jesus, give them wisdom, protection and joy. Let Your life be visible in our home. Amen.
