Thoughts within the New Covenant

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. None. Not "less condemnation." Not "condemnation only for serious failures." None.

This is one of the clearest statements in the New Covenant. The separation is overcome. The verdict has been spoken, over Christ, not over you. Your acquittal stands because Jesus bore the judgment.

If you condemn yourself today, know this: That is not God's voice. He has already spoken. And his word is: No condemnation. Your standing is Christ, not your daily performance.

Truth & Application

Truth: No condemnation, this is not a hope, it is a verdict. God has spoken. If you are in Christ, there is no more room for condemnation. Your righteousness is a gift, not a merit.

Today practically: If the inner voice condemns you today, answer clearly: There is no condemnation for me. I am in Christ. Period.

Question for you: Are you hearing God's acquittal today or the voice of accusation?

Prayer

Father, thank you that there is no more condemnation. Thank you that Jesus bore the judgment. Today I stand in your acquittal. I release self-condemnation and inner judgment. Holy Spirit, let me hear today what you truly say. Amen.
