Thoughts within the New Covenant

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. Paul is not describing a pious theory here but a New Covenant reality: your old self was co-crucified. What lives now is Christ in you.

There are days when one sentence from the outside tips your inner world into self-accusation. But in Christ you are acquitted. Accusation has no right over you anymore, because the one who was accused has died. And the one who lives now is new.

Today you may live from this firm standing, even when old thoughts still get loud.

Truth & Application

Truth: Galatians 2:20 says your old self has been co-crucified. This means accusation aimed at your "old life" strikes into emptiness. You are no longer the person it targets. Christ lives in you, that is your new starting point.

Today practical: When accusation surfaces, respond inwardly: "The old self is dead. Christ lives in me." Then take the next step in peace.

Question for you: Which accusation is aimed at someone you no longer are?

Prayer

Father, thank You that my old self was crucified with Christ. Thank You that it is no longer I who live, but Christ in me. Today I consciously receive this new identity. I release accusation, shame, and inner condemnation, they no longer apply. Holy Spirit, show me today how Christ lives through me. Amen.
