Philippians 4:13
Strength in Him
Verse
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Thought
I can do all things through him who gives me strength. Paul writes this not from comfort but from lack, abundance, hunger, and fullness. In every situation, Christ is the strength.
This verse is not a superhero motto. It is the recognition that your strength does not come from you. In Christ you are capable, not because you are talented but because he strengthens you.
Today you can live from his strength, not your own.
Truth & Application
Truth: Your strength does not come from you, it comes from Christ. In every situation, in lack and abundance, he is your strength. You are not on your own.
Today practically: If you feel weak today, say: Christ makes me capable. Not I, he.
Question for you: Where are you trying to live from your own strength instead of his?
Prayer
Father, thank you that Christ makes me strong. Not my strength, his. Today I live from it. I release self-reliance and overload. Holy Spirit, show me Christs strength in my weakness today. Amen.
