Peace as a Standing
Verse
For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
Thought
Those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness will reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ. Paul describes a reversal: formerly death reigned. Now those who receive grace reign. In life.
Peace as a standing means: you are not ruled, you reign. Through grace. In life. Now.
Today: receive grace and righteousness. And reign in life through Jesus.
Truth & Application
Truth: Whoever receives the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness reigns in life through Jesus Christ. You are not a victim of life. You reign in it, through grace.
Practical today: Consciously receive grace and righteousness today. Then step forward as one who reigns, not as a victim. In your circumstances. Through Jesus.
Question for you: Where do you let life rule you instead of reigning in it?
Prayer
Father, thank you for the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness. Today I reign in life through Jesus Christ. Not as a victim but as a receiver of your grace. I release victim mentality. Holy Spirit, show me what reigning in life means. Amen.
