Ephesians 2:1

You were dead, and God made you alive. This is new creation. You were spiritually dead and he raised you. In Christ you are alive. Not a metaphor, reality.

Truth: God acted when you were still dead. That was his initiative. You received a fresh start you could never have given yourself.

Today practically: Live today in the awareness: I was dead, now I am alive. In Christ.

Question for you: Do you live like someone who has been made alive?
