Romans 8:38-39
Inseparably Loved
Verse
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Thought
Nothing can separate you from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor powers. Paul lists everything, and says: None of it has the power to separate you from God's love. This security is absolute.
Truth & Application
Truth: God's love is inseparably bound to you. No power, no situation, no being can come between.
Today practically: Whatever comes today, it cannot separate you from God's love. Hold on to that.
Question for you: What is trying to separate you today from the certainty of God's love?
Prayer
Father, thank you that nothing can separate me from your love. No power, no fear, no situation. Today I rest in this security. Amen.
