Ephesians 3:12
Confident Access
Verse
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him.
Thought
In Christ you have boldness and access with all confidence. The word "confidence" here doesn't mean vague hope but firm certainty. Your access to the Father doesn't depend on how you feel right now. It is a fact, secured through faith in Christ.
Many people don't dare to come openly and honestly to God. They think they need to get better first. But this verse says the opposite: Come freely and confidently. The access stands. Christ has opened it.
Today you can come boldly to the Father, with everything that moves you.
Truth & Application
Truth: Your access to God is not a reward for good behavior. It is a gift through faith in Christ. You may come as you are, confidently, not hesitantly.
Today practically: Come to God at least once today consciously and confidently. Not as a beggar but as a child who knows: The Father is waiting.
Question for you: Do you come to God with confidence or with the feeling of not being enough?
Prayer
Father, thank you for the boldness and access I have in Christ. Today I come to you with confidence. I let go of hesitation and self-doubt. You receive me with open arms. Holy Spirit, strengthen my confidence today. Amen.
